Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Painter or Carpenter role based in Dubai.
The professional in this role will prepare work areas, surfaces, and materials, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming for painting or finishing.
Daily tasks include applying paints, coatings, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, and ensuring clean, even coverage in line with project specifications.
The role may involve minor surface repairs, filling holes or cracks, and maintaining tools and equipment in safe working condition.
The Painter or Carpenter will follow safety guidelines, coordinate with supervisors and other trades on-site, and complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in paint application and general Painting work, with the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality finishes.
- Experience in Painting and Decorating, including surface preparation, color matching, and detail work on interiors and exteriors.
- Knowledge of Coatings and paint types, including appropriate selection for different substrates and environmental conditions.
- Hands-on experience with Spray Painting techniques and equipment, with attention to safety and overspray control.
- Previous experience in construction, fit-out, or maintenance environments, ideally as a painter, carpenter, or finishing technician.
- Ability to read and follow basic drawings, instructions, and site specifications.
- Commitment to safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to site regulations.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work at heights or on scaffolding as required by the job.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a diverse team on-site in Dubai.
- Relevant vocational training, trade certification, or demonstrable experience in painting, carpentry, or related trades is an advantage.
