We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter/Helper with 4–5 years of experience in residential and commercial maintenance works.
The candidate will be responsible for carrying out painting, surface preparation, touch-up work, and related maintenance activities to ensure high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.
- Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform interior and exterior painting works for residential, commercial, and retail properties.
- Carry out touch-up and repainting works during property maintenance and unit handovers.
- Identify and repair minor wall defects, cracks, and surface damages before painting.
- Ensure proper color matching and finish quality according to company standards.
- Protect furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas before commencing work.
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Report material requirements and work progress to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience as a Painter in a maintenance company, construction company, or facilities management environment.
- Knowledge of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques.
- Ability to prepare surfaces and perform high-quality finishing works.
- Familiarity with safety standards and proper use of painting equipment.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
