Job Description

• Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team.
• As a Painter, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our facilities through high-quality painting services.
• This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
• Execute painting projects in various areas of the facility, including public spaces, guest rooms, and exterior surfaces
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results and maintain consistency across projects
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers with precision and efficiency
• Perform touch-ups and repairs on existing painted surfaces
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper care of painting tools and equipment
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate painting schedules and minimize disruptions
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of painting materials and equipment
• Respond promptly to painting-related requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to the development of innovative painting techniques and solutions to improve overall quality and efficiency
• Participate in regular maintenance checks to identify areas requiring touch-ups or repainting
• Assist in inventory management of paint supplies and materials

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting
• Proficiency in various painting techniques, including color mixing, application methods, and surface preparation
• Extensive knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and their appropriate uses
• Experience with timber treatments and specialty coating applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, consistent results
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of painting materials
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
