- Hang parts onto overhead conveyor racks according to defined standards
- Ensure proper orientation and spacing for optimal coating coverage driven by best practices
- Follow standards and specifications; conduct inspections as necessary. Drive to line balancing and volume loading of parts
- Select and use appropriate hooks, racks, and fixturing
- Maintain consistent feed rate to support line throughput targets
- Safely remove coated parts from conveyor after curing
- Inspect parts for visible defects
- Stage or package parts for next operation
- Minimize down time and look for bottle necks to trouble shoot
- Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order and arrange for necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Segregate non-conforming parts for rework
- Monitor and ensure that all painted parts meet quality standards for part orientation, rack density, and inspection
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs; higher weights with mechanical assist
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding all powder paint processes
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to identify and address paint line-related issues
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent.
