Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed clinical evaluations of patients suffering from chronic and acute pain
- Develop and implement personalized pain management treatment plans using pharmacologic and interventional methods
- Conduct interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and radiofrequency ablations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, psychologists, and general physicians to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families regarding pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain thorough medical records and comply with healthcare regulations
- Stay current with the latest advances in pain medicine and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or related field from an accredited institution
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Pain Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant region
- At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in managing both chronic and acute pain conditions
- Proficiency in performing a wide array of interventional pain management procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional learning
