Role summary
Packers support residential and commercial moves by dismantling, packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking belongings.
The role requires careful handling of customers’ items during moves.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle and reassemble furniture and other items as needed.
- Wrap, pack, and label belongings to prevent damage; unpack and reassemble items at the destination.
- Load and unload trucks safely and in an organized manner.
- Inspect and document damage, follow safety procedures, and work collaboratively to provide timely service.
- Respond to customer concerns and specific packing requests.
Requirements
- Packing, moving, or similar experience is a plus.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, ability to follow instructions, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends if required.
