Package Design and Development Quality Assurance Engineer - Data Analytics

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Map package DDQA processes and data streams with engineering teams; establish databases and data ingestion pipelines.
• Build automated data analysis and reporting tools and optimize databases and solutions.
• Analyze product, manufacturing, and reliability data to support problem solving and risk assessment for quality issues.
• Select and prepare datasets; create visualizations, machine learning models, statistical inferences, or web applications to answer problem-solving questions.
• Recommend root-cause findings and product risk based on analysis.
• Gather, organize, and prioritize software requirements using project and change management techniques.
• Share best practices, code, and lessons with global teams; train internal customers to use reports and tools.
• Present findings, support and upgrade team code and reports, and contribute to mentoring, technical papers, and innovative solutions.

Position requirements

• Employer will accept a master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms using Python.
• Software quality assurance methodologies and software testing lifecycles.
• Object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and object-oriented design principles.
• SQL, relational database systems, and data modeling concepts.
• Full-stack web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Algorithm and data structure design and implementation.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, distributed systems, and networking fundamentals.
