The People and Culture Coordinator supports a dedicated portfolio of Business Managers and their teams.
The role provides support across recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee relations.
Key duties
- Coordinate high-volume recruitment and selection, including pre-employment medicals, credential checks, and due diligence.
- Onboard new starters, issue contracts, prepare documentation, and run inductions.
- Maintain Workday data integrity, train users, and resolve system queries.
- Prepare employment contracts, variations, and related documents.
- Manage visa and VEVO checks and monthly casual conversion requirements.
- Run recognition, referral, and retention programs.
- Support Award and enterprise agreement interpretation, investigations, grievances, and employee relations matters.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly recruitment, learning, and compliance reports.
- Attend job fairs and RTO partner visits to attract talent.
Skills and experience
- Experience in high-volume recruitment and entry-level generalist HR.
- A qualification in HR.
- Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn in-house systems quickly; Workday experience is a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and confidence building relationships with managers, operations teams, and frontline staff.
- Strong organization, ability to manage competing priorities, and deadline management.
