Outside Sales Representative

Role overview

Sales and account management

• Visit salons across Greater Fort Wayne to build relationships, introduce new products, and expand account revenue.
• Promote and support local brand education, hands-on classes, and product knowledge sessions for salon staff.
• Place orders, manage promotions, process returns, and keep accurate account notes in Salesforce.
• Oversee receivables within standard terms and collect payments promptly.
• Attend sales meetings, industry events, and brand training sessions as a company representative.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Greater Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana, approximately 75% daily field travel.
• Prior outside sales, retail, or high-touch customer service experience.
• Self-motivated approach with strong organization and follow-through.

Preferred qualifications

• B2B or outside sales experience with a proven record of meeting goals is preferred.
• Hands-on beauty industry experience or a strong interest in salon culture is preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is preferred.

Pay and benefits

• Base pay is $45,000 to $65,000; estimated first-year on-target earnings are $55,000 to $75,000 or more.
• Mileage reimbursement and a monthly cell phone allowance are provided.
