Outside Sales Representative

Role Overview

Sales Responsibilities

• Develop the assigned territory and implement sales plans to grow business and maintain the current customer base.
• Use cold calling and closing skills to expand an existing portfolio in a high-demand market.
• Generate profitable business from the equipment range offered by the assigned profit center.
• Build new business, retain customers, and work with colleagues to deliver appropriate equipment and service.

Education and Experience

• A four-year college degree in a related field with at least one year of related experience, or three to four years of related sales experience, is required.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.

Knowledge and Skills

• The role relies on project management, new business development, customer retention, communication, negotiation, and computer skills.
• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment is preferred.

Physical and Work Conditions

• The role may require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors.

Compensation

• The listed base pay range is $40,000 to $50,000.
• Total compensation includes base pay, a company vehicle, and a commission plan.
