Outbound Visa Consultant

About This Role

Job Summary

The Outbound Visa Consultant is responsible for advising clients on visa options for overseas travel, study, work, or immigration. The role involves assessing client profiles, preparing and submitting visa applications, and ensuring compliance with embassy and immigration regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end outbound visa processing for tourist, business, student, and transit visas
Advise clients on visa requirements, documentation, timelines, and fees
Collect, verify, and prepare visa applications as per embassy/consulate guidelines
Coordinate appointments for biometrics, interviews, and submissions
Liaise with embassies, VFS, BLS, and other visa service centers
Track application status and provide regular updates to clients
Maintain accurate records of applications, passports, and supporting documents
Stay updated on visa rules, immigration policies, and country-specific changes
Handle client queries and resolve visa-related issues professionally
Support sales and operations teams with visa feasibility and turnaround times

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
2–4 years of experience in outbound visa processing or travel operations
Strong knowledge of visa procedures for key destinations (Schengen, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and document verification skills
Good communication and customer-handling skills
Ability to manage multiple applications under deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office and visa tracking systemsPreferred Skills

Experience with VFS/BLS/TLS portals
Knowledge of travel bookings (air tickets, hotels, insurance)
Multilingual abilities (a plus)

Travel Agency / Tour Operator / DMC
Full-time | Office-based Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not always mandatory)
• 2–4 years of experience in visa consulting, travel consultancy, or immigration services
• Strong knowledge of outbound visa procedures for multiple countries
• Excellent communication and counseling skills
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and visa processing portals
• Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset

Preferred Skills

• Experience with student visas or immigration programs
• Sales or target-based counseling experience
• Knowledge of CRM systems
• Multilingual abilities (a plus)
