Out Systems Developer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using OutSystems according to business and technical requirements.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into executable technical solutions.
• Design and develop screens, business logic, workflows, and data models within OutSystems.
• Build integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and Integration Studio.
• Support integration with systems such as ERP, MRO/SCM, databases, reporting systems, and identity and access management systems.
• Apply best practices in OutSystems development regarding performance, security, component reuse, and code quality.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts in designing technical solutions.
• Implement unit tests, support integration tests, and address technical feedback and defects.
• Assist in deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments using LifeTime.
• Review code and technical designs of less experienced developers and provide guidance.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, including design documents, integration documents, and deployment notes.
• Support post-launch phases and resolve critical technical issues.
• Adhere to Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and sprint reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in developing applications using OutSystems.
• Practical experience in large or sensitive projects, preferably government or digital transformation projects.
• Strong experience with integration to external systems and APIs.
• Good knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of application security concepts, access management, identity verification, and audit logs.
• Ability to work within interdisciplinary teams including business analysts, architects, testers, and project managers.
