No "call us to find out". Everything that touches your settlement is on this page, split into what you always pay, what you only pay if you need it, and what we never take. Terms as of 15 August 2026 — insurance and rental rates move, so if you are reading this much later, ask a recruiter what has changed.

Questions

A $2,500 security deposit is required. To make it easier it can be divided into 10 weekly payments of $250 , so it comes off your settlements rather than out of your pocket on day one. It is in the lease agreement in writing before you sign.

We run a Tuesday-through-Monday pay week and send your direct deposit at the end of that week. Depending on your bank, the money usually posts to your account early the next week.

We assist with getting your truck properly plated, and if your registration is not set up yet we can handle the process — a full year runs about $2,000. We also handle your IFTA filings, and what you pay is the fuel tax itself, worked out from your miles and the states you ran. Every applicable cost and deduction is set out in your agreement before you start, and your recruiter goes through all of it with you first.

No. As an owner-operator you are always free to choose whether to accept a load, as long as it has not already been booked. Our dispatchers have three or more years of experience and know the market and the job, so we would encourage you to trust their recommendations — but the final decision stays in your hands.

General freight, dry food, machinery, equipment, paper products and packaging material across all 48 states, in dry van, open deck and reefer. We load LTL as well, at the same 12% fee. No hazmat.

Detentions, layovers and TONU depend on the broker and on the load. We work with brokers and customers to get you the most money possible, and whatever comes in is passed straight through to you. It is not always guaranteed, but we always do our best to get you paid.

Yes. We run our own maintenance facility in East Dundee, IL, so repairs get handled in-house instead of you hunting for a bay on the road, and owner-operators get a $10 discount on labor .

12% of your gross revenue. That is 12% on LTL as well.

Yes. We assist with over-the-road breakdowns and emergencies so you get back on the road as quickly as possible, and we can arrange towing when the truck is down. If a repair bill lands harder than you expected, come and talk to us — we would rather work out the payments with you than watch a good owner park the truck.

If possible we handle the repair at our own shop. And while your truck is being repaired you do not have to sit and wait — you may have the option to drive for us and keep earning until it is ready to get back on the road.
