Role Description
The OTC Broker Cofounder will play a key role in building and scaling an over-the-counter (OTC) brokerage business in partnership with Star Net Ltd.
This is a full-time, remote role focused on developing and managing client relationships, structuring OTC deals, and growing a network of traders, investors, and institutional partners.
Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying leads, conducting market and competitor research, negotiating terms and pricing, and coordinating with Star Net’s technology, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement.
The role will also involve designing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, hosting online meetings or webinars, and contributing to the overall business model, revenue structure, and growth roadmap.
As a cofounder, the individual will share responsibility for business performance, compliance awareness (in collaboration with Star Net’s consulting resources), and continuous optimization of OTC products and client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Marketing skills to drive client acquisition, build pipelines, and promote OTC products across relevant channels.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate deals, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Robust Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to assess market conditions, evaluate pricing and liquidity options, and identify new business opportunities.
- Solid understanding of Forex, Crypto, or related financial markets, preferably with experience in brokerage, trading, or fintech environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record (or clear potential) in building or scaling a business, partnership, or sales network.
- Comfort working in a remote, performance-driven environment with high ownership and accountability for results.
- Familiarity with OTC trading workflows, basic risk concepts, and compliance considerations is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in financial services or startups.**
