- Pre-Operative (Before Surgery)**
- **Patient Assessment:** Evaluate patients, review medical histories, and verify surgical consent forms.
- **Preparation:** Disinfect the surgical site and safely position patients on the operating table.
- **Briefing:** Participate in the multidisciplinary team "TIME OUT" to confirm correct patient identity, surgical site, and procedure.
- **Environment Setup:** Ensure the operating room, instruments, and equipment are sterile and fully operational.
2. Intra-Operative (During Surgery)
- **Surgical Assistance:** Work directly with surgeons and anesthetists by passing medical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- **Monitoring:** Continuously monitor the patient's vital parameters and respond quickly to any emergencies.
- **Safety Protocols:** Conduct rigorous instrument, sponge, and sharp counts to ensure nothing is left inside the patient.
- **Sterile Field Maintenance:** Strictly adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infections
