About This Role
Overview
We are looking for an orthodontist who will be responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities such as misaligned teeth and jaw discrepancies.
The role involves creating customized treatment plans and providing orthodontic care using braces, aligners, and other corrective appliances in compliance with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose dental and jaw alignment issues (malocclusion, crowding, overbite, underbite, etc.)
- Develop individualized orthodontic treatment plans
- Fit and adjust braces, retainers, and clear aligners (e.g., Invisalign)
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments throughout treatment
- Take and analyze X-rays, digital scans, and dental impressions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists
- Manage complex orthodontic cases and ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Requirements (Dubai/UAE)
- BDS + Master’s/PG Diploma in Orthodontics (Specialist qualification)
- Minimum 2–5 years clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic appliances and modern techniques
- Experience with braces, aligners, and digital orthodontic systems
- Excellent patient communication and case management skills
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Invisalign / clear aligner therapy
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Work Environment in Dubai
- Private dental clinics and medical centers
- Commission-based, salary-based, or revenue-sharing models
- Flexible or full-time/part-time arrangements depending on clinic
