Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Oral Surgeon role based in Dubai.
The Oral Surgeon will perform a range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, surgical removal of impacted teeth, minor oral surgery, and management of oral pathologies.
The role includes planning and placing dental implants, collaborating with restorative dentists on comprehensive treatment plans, and performing preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-ups.
Responsibilities also involve administering local anesthesia and coordinating with anesthesiology support when needed, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and ensuring adherence to the clinic’s safety and infection control protocols.
The Oral Surgeon will work closely with the multidisciplinary dental and dermatology team to support a high-end, patient-centered experience.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Oral Surgery, including extractions, minor oral surgery, and management of oral and maxillofacial conditions.
- Clinical background in Dentistry and Medicine, with the ability to integrate oral health within overall patient care.
- Competence in Anesthesiology principles relevant to oral surgery, including local anesthesia and collaboration with anesthesiology professionals for advanced cases.
- Proficiency in Dental Implants, including treatment planning, placement, and collaboration on restorative phases.
- Valid dental and/or oral surgery license eligible for practice in Dubai, with appropriate specialist registration as required by local regulations.
- Experience in a premium or high-volume clinical setting, with a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and informed consent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multicultural team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, evidence-based practice, and familiarity with digital dentistry technologies is an advantage.
