Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Oral & Implant Surgery Specialist based in the Riyadh Region.
The specialist will perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial procedures, including dental implants, surgical extractions, bone grafting, and related surgical interventions in a modern clinical setting.
Responsibilities
include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, obtaining informed consent, and providing pre- and post-operative care.
The role will collaborate closely with general dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, hygienists, and other clinical team members to ensure safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
The specialist will also maintain detailed clinical records, follow infection prevention and safety protocols, participate in case discussions, and support continuous quality improvement and patient education initiatives.
Qualifications
- Licensed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon or Oral & Implant Surgery Specialist with valid registration in Saudi Arabia (or eligibility for licensing in the Riyadh Region).
- Advanced clinical expertise in oral surgery, including complex extractions, implant placement, bone augmentation, sinus lifts, and management of surgical complications.
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities, including interpretation of radiographs and 3D imaging (CBCT) for implant and surgical cases.
- Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic techniques, infection control, and adherence to clinical safety and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain procedures, risks, and alternatives clearly to patients and families.
- Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary dental team and contributing to coordinated patient care.
- Commitment to continuing professional development, keeping current with advances in oral and implant surgery techniques, materials, and technologies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage a busy surgical schedule while maintaining high standards of care.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Implantology, or a related specialty from an accredited institution.
