Role Description
The Oral & Implant Surgery Specialist at Dental Kingdom will provide comprehensive surgical care, including dental implant placement, complex tooth extractions, bone grafting, and other oral surgery procedures for a diverse patient population.
This full-time, on-site role in Riyadh involves performing detailed clinical assessments, interpreting diagnostic imaging, and developing individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based protocols and clinic standards.
The specialist will collaborate closely with general dentists, prosthodontists, hygienists, and other team members to coordinate pre- and post-operative care and ensure a high standard of patient safety.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, obtaining informed consent, educating patients on treatment options and post-surgical instructions, and actively contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
The role also includes participation in case discussions, adherence to infection control and regulatory requirements, and supporting a respectful, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery, including implantology, bone grafting, and management of surgical complications.
- Proficiency in using dental imaging and diagnostic tools (e.g., CBCT, digital X-rays) and in developing comprehensive surgical treatment plans.
- Current dental degree (e.g., DDS, DMD, or equivalent) and recognized specialty training in oral and/or implant surgery.
- Valid professional licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice in Saudi Arabia, in accordance with local regulatory bodies.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain complex procedures and obtain informed consent in a clear, respectful manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team and to collaborate on complex restorative and surgical cases.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuing professional development, and adherence to clinical governance and safety standards.
- Experience in a high-volume clinical setting and familiarity with electronic health record systems are highly beneficial.
- Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
