Oracle NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant

About This Role

We have an urgent requirement for Oracle NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant for our client based Dubai Strong experience in Oracle NetSuite implementation and post-go-live support as a techno-functional consultant-- Must Handson experience in NetSuite Financials (GL, AR, AP, Bank, Tax) and at least two of: Inventory Management, Procurement, Order-to-Cash, Fixed Assets.-- Must Proven SuiteScript 2.0 / 2.1 development — Client, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet and RESTlet script types.-- Must Integration exposure via SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) and/or RESTlets.-- Must Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle NetSuite Techno-Functional Consultant to be deployed onsite in Dubai, UAE,. The consultant will provide day-to-day functional and technical support, drive configuration and issue resolution, support UAT and module deployments, and deliver documentation and knowledge transfer to internal business users. Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support across NetSuite architecture, design, master data and record flows.
• Analyse and resolve issues raised by business users; coordinate with Oracle Support where escalations are required.
• Configure and optimise standard NetSuite modules to meet business requirements.
• Develop, debug and maintain SuiteScript 2.x customisations to address functional gaps.
• Build and maintain Saved Searches, Workbooks, custom reports, KPIs and role-based dashboards.
• Support UAT cycles and post-go-live validation; reproduce, triage and close defects.
• Deploy new NetSuite modules and third-party connectors as scope expands; manage environment promotion.
• Produce functional specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts and end-user SOPs.
• Conduct training and handover sessions for internal finance, inventory and operations users.
• Log all tasks, time and status in the project management tool; deliver weekly progress reports.

Must-Have Experience & Skills

• 5+ years hands-on Oracle NetSuite implementation and post-go-live support as a techno-functional consultant.
• Strong command of NetSuite Financials (GL, AR, AP, Bank, Tax) and at least two of: Inventory Management, Procurement, Order-to-Cash, Fixed Assets.
• Proven SuiteScript 2.0 / 2.1 development — Client, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet and RESTlet script types.
• SuiteBuilder (custom records, fields, forms, sublists), SuiteFlow workflows, Saved Searches and Workbook.
• Data migration using CSV Import; data cleansing and transformation experience.
• Integration exposure via SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) and/or RESTlets.
• Role, permission and access control design; familiarity with SoD principles in NetSuite.
• Clear functional and technical documentation in English.
• Client-facing maturity — can run workshops, UAT sessions, training and status reviews independently.
• Currently based in, or willing to relocate to, Dubai and work onsite.

Preferred / Nice To Have

• NetSuite certifications: SuiteFoundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant or SuiteCloud Developer.
• UAE VAT / FTA e-invoicing and multi-currency / multi-subsidiary (OneWorld) exposure.
• Integration experience with middleware platforms.
• Exposure to advanced NetSuite modules (Advanced Inventory, WMS, Demand Planning, Fixed Assets Management).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Soft Skills & Working Style

• Calm, structured problem-solver — comfortable owning P1 incidents independently.
• Strong written and spoken English; able to translate business requirements into NetSuite configurations.
• Works well with offshore delivery teams and a small onsite business team.
• Attention to detail in documentation, change logs and timesheet discipline.
