Oracle HCM - Senior Cloud Functional Analyst

Role overview

Essential duties

• Lead Oracle Cloud HCM initiatives with HR, Payroll, Security, Integrations, Reporting, and IT teams.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, production validation, and post-production support.
• Configure and support Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Security, Absence Management, Benefits, and Time & Labor.
• Advise stakeholders on HCM best practices, process optimization, and system capabilities.
• Support quarterly releases, impact analysis, regression testing, and adoption of Redwood enhancements.
• Collaborate on HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, BIP, OTBI, REST APIs, OIC, and downstream integrations.
• Develop prototypes and scalable configurations based on approved requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and handle break/fix, enhancement, and production-support work.
• Mentor junior analysts and consultants, provide technical leadership, and support continuous improvement.
• Participate in project planning, status reporting, testing coordination, and stakeholder communications.

Required experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive Oracle HCM support and configuration experience, including large enterprise environments and full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM modules, including Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Security, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time & Labor.
• Hands-on experience with HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST APIs, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Experience supporting the full lifecycle from requirements and design through configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support.
• Experience with quarterly cloud updates, regression testing, Redwood adoption, enterprise enhancements, and production break/fix.
• Understanding of cross-module impacts and downstream integrations.
• Experience mentoring team members, leading workstreams, delegating tasks, and driving process improvement.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics, including OTBI, BI Publisher, and data models.

Preferred qualifications

• Fast Formula, HCM Security, AME workflow setup, personalization, and integrations are strongly preferred.
• Consulting experience or supporting multiple enterprise clients is highly desirable.
• Experience in construction, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, aerospace, or another large enterprise is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Oracle Cloud HCM certification is a plus; additional functional or technical Oracle HCM expertise and three end-to-end implementations are preferred.

Compensation

• Salary range is USD 133,000–171,500 per year.
