Oracle EBS Business Analyst

Role overview

Business analysis and process improvement

• Gather and document business requirements with stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions; translate needs into functional requirements, user stories, and solution specifications.
• Document current- and future-state processes, workflows, procedures, use cases, and system interactions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardize processes, strengthen controls, and reduce manual workarounds.

Oracle EBS and testing

• Support Oracle EBS processes and applications; collaborate on solution design, system impacts, troubleshooting, and integrations.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts; support SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment validation, and release readiness.
• Document test results and defects, coordinate remediation, and validate delivered solutions against business needs.

Project and transformation support

• Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, acquisitions, business integrations, and transformation initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with change management, training, business readiness, reporting, dashboards, analytics, and KPIs.
• Contribute to Agile, Lean, and structured project delivery approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
• Ideally 7+ years as a business analyst, ERP analyst, functional analyst, or similar.
• Experience supporting Oracle EBS and gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Experience creating process and testing documentation and coordinating UAT and business validation.

Relevant experience

• Experience with project-based, ETO, CTO, or complex manufacturing businesses is listed as a qualification.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle management, project costing, project accounting, contract management, and operational execution is listed as a qualification.
• Oracle EBS module experience, ERP project experience, Agile familiarity, analytics tools, and Oracle Fusion exposure are also noted.
