What we offer:

  • For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $85,000-$105,000 CAD (Halifax, Nova Scotia). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

Qualifications

  • We encourage you to bring your own experience and expertise to the table, so while there are some qualifications and experiences we need you to have, we are open to discussing how your individual knowledge might lend itself to fulfilling this role and help us achieve our goals.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS Financial applications.
  • Hands-on experience developing and enhancing custom solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
  • Able to write and tune complex SQL and develop robust PL/SQL to build and correct application logic and data.
  • Able to build and support interfaces and integrations between Oracle E-Business Suite and third-party applications.
  • Experience with OBIEE and ODI development required
  • Practical experience across core Finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, with the willingness to broaden your expertise across the wider Oracle Financials landscape.
  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly, in writing and in conversation, to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Able to analyze problems methodically and troubleshoot issues through to resolution.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate progress and challenges transparently.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent field, or comparable practical experience.
  • Experience working directly with business end users to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Experience with development of Hyperion Essbase and Smartview
  • Experience with HFM, HTP and DRM an advantage
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar Agile work management platforms for backlog and delivery tracking
  • Able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week in our Halifax office to support team collaboration and engagement.
  • Work standard business hours, with occasional flexibility to coordinate deployments or support releases outside core hours.
