Operator III

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Perform operational activities to support the efficient receipt and preparation of feedstocks for the process units.
• Perform routine operational field activities to support the achievement of production targets.
• Perform operational field activities during Start-Up/Shut-Down and process upsets to minimize plant disruption.
• Assist in the equipment preparation and work-site to support efficient execution of maintenance activities.
• Execute operational activities during SD/TA to support plant and equipment reliability.
• Ensure the business processes and work activities relevant to the position are executed in compliance with SASREF policy, procedures, and best practices.
• Full compliance with all cybersecurity requirements and participate in awareness courses, reporting campaigns, and other initiatives related to cybersecurity.
• Carry out simple maintenance and repair tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision.
• Organize own work schedule in order to get the job done, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma degree in Chemical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
