Job description
Operate production machinery to process scheduled orders and produce the quantities specified on Factory Job Tickets.
Shift start and order preparation
- Coordinate with the previous shift operator to review the production schedule, completed items, and upcoming orders.
- Send raw material sheet requirements to the raw-material warehouse for transfer to production.
- Check material requirements against the production plan and select the reel type specified by the Factory Job Ticket.
- Set machine length and quantity and retain reel labels to record board type, sheet size, weight, and GSM.
Production and order completion
- Run the machine and ensure the required quantity of sheets is cut according to the Factory Job Ticket.
- Print and tag finished goods and maintain palletizing requirements.
- Update the production report with required information and pallet number, and ensure the QC Inspector records relevant information.
- Confirm final quantity against the Factory Job Ticket and ensure product labels are in place and pallets are stored in designated locations.
