Operations Supervisor

DP World are recruiting for an Operations Supervisor to join our growing team in Coventry. An Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff.

About The Role

How you will contribute afety procedures are adhered to relating to processing and checking

• Daily completion of management reports etc.
• Achievement of productivity levels in line with agreed KPI’s
• Ensure that the team follows correct processes and standards
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained
• Provide help and assistance to other departments as and when required
• Promote a sound employee relations climate for all employees
• Communicate appropriately with external and internal customers at all times
• Coach and Mentor operatives and Team Leads

Your Key Skills/Experience

• Good level of Maths and English
• Team Player
• Warehouse Operations knowledge
• People management skills
• Supervising a team
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.)
• Travel may be required
