OPERATIONS MANAGER – SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage swimming pool construction operations and plan, coordinate, and monitor projects from start to completion.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets; align progress and payment certifications with approved programs and actual site progress.
• Lead project engineers, site teams, and subcontractors; monitor progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and site needs.
• Maintain project profitability through productivity, cost control, and minimizing wasted resources; take corrective action when performance falls short.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors; review schedules, budgets, variations, payment certifications, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, safety requirements, and company procedures; resolve issues to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Provide management with operational, progress, and profitability reports.

Mandatory requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 10 years of experience in swimming pool construction and project operations.
• Valid UAE driving license, Society of Engineers (SOE) Membership/Certification, and Dubai Municipality (DM) Engineering Certification/Registration are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of swimming pool construction, MEP systems, filtration systems, waterproofing, and related works.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects and site teams; knowledge of scheduling, progress monitoring, payment certification, and project controls.
• Commercial awareness and ability to control costs and maintain project profitability.
• Leadership, planning, coordination, problem-solving, communication, and client-management skills; knowledge of UAE construction practices and authority requirements.
• Current availability in the UAE is preferred.

Compensation

• AED 16,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
