Operations Manager Dubai-project management experience in structured cabling, data center infra

Position summary

Client and commercial delivery

• Act as primary interface between clients and internal delivery teams for assigned hyperscale accounts.
• Identify account growth opportunities and propose services or scope expansions that address client needs.
• Support bids, proposals, contract negotiations, pricing, value engineering, and service differentiation with sales and commercial teams.
• Contribute to business development through industry contacts, client meetings, and onboarding strategic accounts.

Project delivery

• Plan and deliver copper and fiber structured cabling projects from initiation through closeout.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resource allocation across project lifecycles.
• Supervise on-site execution teams to maintain scope, safety, and quality standards.
• Review technical submittals, drawings, change requests, and commissioning documentation.
• Monitor progress, hold status reviews, and update internal stakeholders and client representatives.
• Coordinate procurement and subcontractors to ensure timely materials and services.
• Track cost, time, quality, and compliance KPIs; initiate corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate with design consultants, main contractors, and client-side engineers to resolve site issues and technical queries.
• Maintain meeting minutes, schedules, RFI logs, risk registers, and other project documentation.

Required qualifications and skills

• At least 5 years of project management experience in structured cabling, data center infrastructure, or related ICT delivery.
• Proven experience managing large-scale or hyperscale data center deployments.
• In-depth knowledge of Cat6/Cat6a, single-mode and multi-mode fiber, MPO, containment, testing, and documentation.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, with ability to build long-term enterprise client relationships.
• Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under pressure.
• Understanding of local compliance, health and safety standards, and quality control practices.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• BICSI RCDD or equivalent structured cabling design certification.
• Experience delivering projects for hyperscale clients or working in a global or multinational delivery environment.

Pay

• AED 20,000 per month.
