Position Summary
Lead delivery of data centre, structured cabling, and physical infrastructure projects in hyperscale environments while managing strategic client relationships.
Serve as the key client contact and ensure delivery meets performance expectations, compliance standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary interface between clients and internal delivery teams; identify account growth opportunities and propose services or scope expansions.
- Support bids, proposals, and contract negotiations; contribute to business development and strategic account onboarding.
- Provide input on pricing, value engineering, and service differentiation.
- Plan and deliver copper and fibre structured cabling projects from initiation to closeout; manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Supervise on-site teams and ensure scope, safety, and quality requirements are met.
- Review technical submittals, drawings, change requests, and commissioning documentation; monitor progress and update stakeholders.
- Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, design consultants, main contractors, and client-side engineers to resolve issues and technical queries.
- Track cost, time, quality, and compliance KPIs and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, client specifications, TIA/EIA, BICSI, and hyperscaler guidelines.
- Maintain meeting minutes, schedules, RFI logs, and risk registers.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of project management experience in structured cabling, data centre infrastructure, or related ICT delivery.
- Experience managing large-scale or hyperscale data centre deployments.
- In-depth knowledge of Cat6/Cat6a, single-mode/multi-mode fibre, MPO, containment, testing, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills; ability to build long-term enterprise client relationships.
- Familiarity with MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, or similar project management tools.
- Strong organization and ability to manage concurrent projects under pressure.
- Understanding of local compliance, health and safety, and quality control practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- BICSI RCDD or equivalent structured cabling design certification.
- Experience delivering hyperscale client projects or working in a global or multinational delivery environment.
Pay
- AED 20,000 per month.
