Overview
Maven Contracting and General Maintenance is seeking an experienced
Operations Manager
to oversee and manage our construction and maintenance operations across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects and ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, risks, and operational performance.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
- Support procurement, commercial, variation, payment, and project close-out activities.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Resolve technical and operational issues affecting project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum
- 10 years of construction experience in the UAE
- .
- Proven experience in an operations or senior project management position.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, regulations, contracts, and authority requirements.
- Experience in structural strengthening, concrete repair, rehabilitation, maintenance, or building contracting is preferred.
- Strong leadership, planning, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team-management abilities.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
