About Iw Express
IW Express is a fast-growing courier and logistics company committed to providing reliable, efficient, and customer-focused delivery solutions across the UAE and the GCC.
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day logistics operations and support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Oversee and manage daily courier, transportation, and last-mile delivery operations.
2.
Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and delivery KPIs are consistently achieved.
3.
Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
4.
Lead and manage operations teams, including supervisors, dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
5.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and IT to ensure smooth operational execution.
6.
Analyze operational data and prepare performance reports for management.
7.
Manage fleet utilization, route optimization, and resource planning.
8.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
9.
Handle escalations and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner.
10.
Support business expansion initiatives and new service implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in courier, express, logistics, or e-commerce operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of last-mile delivery operations, fleet management, and courier industry best practices.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with logistics management systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing regional or multi-site operations.
- Familiarity with UAE and GCC logistics markets.
- Knowledge of route optimization and operational performance tools.
