Operations Manager

Overview

• The Logistics and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient storage, movement, and distribution of goods.
• The role focuses on optimizing processes, maintaining accurate inventory control, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading warehouse and logistics teams to achieve operational excellence.
• **Roles and Responsibilities:*** Oversee and manage daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure accurate stock control, and maintain proper documentation and reporting.
• Implement and maintain best practices in warehousing and logistics to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and production teams to ensure timely availability and delivery of goods.
• Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics operations.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and OHS regulations and company policies.
• Recruit, train, schedule, motivate, and evaluate warehouse personnel to foster a high-performance work culture.
• Address and resolve issues related to transportation delays, delivery challenges, and stock discrepancies.
• Direct receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, manage stock levels, and ensure system data accuracy.
• Enforce strict safety, hygiene, and security standards within warehouse and logistics operations.
