Founded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools. Description of Responsibilities:

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies.
• Knowledge of warehousing and production health and safety regulation and ensure strict adhere of the operations team.
• Complies with UAE, JAFZA and company warehousing, material handling, and waste disposal regulations by staying updated on new legislation.
• Basic knowledge of the function of forklift and band saw machines. Providing hands on assistance where needed to ensure productivity continues.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconcile with ERP system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse and equipment by regular inspection and coordinate with external service providers for routine maintenance.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements including production planning, work schedule, assigning employees and coordinating with logistics to ensure on time delivery.
• Daily updates of completed work sheet and inventory receipt in ERP system.
• Record daily attendance and overtime sheet for warehouse employees. Record and manage annual PTO for employees.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures and analyzing variances.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by training, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Evaluates resources and training needed for daily operation and makes adjustments as necessary.
• Manages new hire process for operations, including interviewing new candidates.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing set objectives / goals.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Min 4 years of experience in warehousing and production in the steel industry.
• Experience managing a team of minimum 5-8 employees.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
