Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager role based in Doha, Qatar.
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations across multiple food and beverage concepts, ensuring consistent service quality, adherence to standards, and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, supervising front- and back-of-house teams, monitoring inventory and supply chain needs, and coordinating with vendors and support functions.
The role also involves implementing operational policies, tracking performance metrics, addressing customer feedback, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The Operations Manager will collaborate with leadership to achieve financial targets, optimize costs, and maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management within the food and beverage or hospitality sector, overseeing multi-unit or high-volume locations.
- Strong skills in team leadership, staff supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Experience with process optimization, workflow planning, and implementing standard operating procedures.
- Competence in inventory control, basic budgeting, and cost management.
- Ability to analyze operational data, monitor KPIs, and use insights to improve service and efficiency.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle escalations and resolve issues professionally.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and cultural backgrounds.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local health, safety, and food hygiene standards in Qatar or willingness to learn and comply.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed for operations.
