Houd Traditional Restaurant in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Restaurant Operations Manager (Chef Manager).
The manager will lead all restaurant operations and oversee kitchen, service, staff, inventory, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.
The role is intended for professionals with experience managing traditional Emirati restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete restaurant operation on a daily basis.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Ensure authentic food quality and excellent customer service.
- Train, motivate, and manage staff performance.
- Monitor food cost, inventory, purchasing, and waste control.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
- Improve operational efficiency and drive sales growth.
- Handle customer complaints and maintain high guest satisfaction.
- Report to management and ensure all departments meet required standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4–6 years of proven experience managing a traditional Emirati restaurant is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills are required.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, customer service, and restaurant financial control is required.
- Experience with POS systems and operational reporting is required.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
- UAE-based candidates are preferred, and immediate joining is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Salary and Benefits
- The posting describes monthly compensation of AED 5,000 or more depending on experience.
- A separate pay statement lists AED 3,000–AED 6,000 per month.
- Performance-based commission may be provided for achieving agreed sales growth targets.
