Role overview

Warehouse operations and compliance

• Plan receiving, unloading, put-away, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch; use warehouse space efficiently and maintain stock records.
• Coordinate staff, transporters, customers, and internal teams; supervise safe container loading and unloading and monitor productivity.
• Maintain knowledge of JAFZA procedures; manage warehouse documentation and coordinate customs clearance and cargo movement.
• Document receipts, stock movements, and dispatches in compliance with applicable procedures.

Cold storage and inventory

• Manage temperature-controlled warehouses and cold rooms; monitor required product temperatures and report refrigeration problems or deviations.
• Ensure proper food storage, segregation, handling, preservation, hygiene, pest control, traceability, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Maintain WMS records; coordinate ASN processing, receiving, put-away, GRN finalization, stock transfers, and dispatch documentation.
• Conduct periodic counts, investigate discrepancies, prepare inventory and operational reports, and maintain pallet identification and goods traceability.

Team coordination and safety

• Coordinate supervisors, forklift operators, helpers, drivers, and other operations staff; maintain a clean, organized, safe facility.
• Identify operational issues and recommend improvements; minimize product damage, spoilage, discrepancies, and operational losses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain.
• Practical knowledge of JAFZA procedures and UAE customs regulations; knowledge of warehouse documentation, inventory control, and stock reconciliation.
• Experience using a WMS or other warehouse/inventory management software.
• Cold-storage experience is highly preferred; foodstuff, FMCG, or perishable-product handling is an advantage.
• Good coordination, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with foodstuff trading companies, 3PL providers, cold-storage facilities, or bonded/free-zone warehouses is preferred.

Workplace

• The role is based at the JAFZA warehouse facility in Dubai and is in person.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 5,000–9,000 per month.
