Operations Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day MEP operations and maintenance activities.
• Supervise electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP services.
• Lead engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure MEP systems operate smoothly and breakdowns are resolved promptly.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and operational costs.
• Prepare and review maintenance reports, schedules, and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor service quality and contractual requirements.
• Manage emergency breakdowns and provide technical solutions.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and procurement; conduct site inspections, maintain documentation, and improve operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of MEP experience, including management-level experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in MEP operations, maintenance, and facilities management.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills; good client and subcontractor management experience.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements and MEP standards; UAE or GCC experience is advantageous.

Compensation

• The description lists pay of AED 7,000–12,000 per month.
