Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations and maintenance activities for rail infrastructure, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programmes to optimise asset performance and minimise downtime
- Lead and manage handover processes for rail systems, assets, and facilities, ensuring seamless transitions and thorough documentation
- Direct and mentor maintenance teams, providing guidance on technical procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations
- Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and operational tasks
- Establish and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset conditions, and handover documentation for compliance and audit purposes
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Manage stakeholder communications regarding operational status, maintenance schedules, and handover milestones
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian rail regulations, industry standards, and organisational policies
- Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance operations and resource allocation
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for operational and maintenance related challenges
- Facilitate induction and training programmes for new operational and maintenance personnel

- Minimum 15 years' experience in rail operations and maintenance management
- Proven experience managing asset handovers and transition projects
- Strong people management and team leadership skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of rail infrastructure systems and maintenance protocols
