Role Description
This is a remote internship role for an Operations Intern at RyderX Delivery Services.
The Operations Intern will support day-to-day logistics coordination, including tracking delivery performance, monitoring route efficiency, and assisting with rider scheduling.
Responsibilities
include maintaining operational records, helping prepare reports for internal stakeholders and clients, and supporting the implementation of standard operating procedures.
The intern will collaborate with operations and account management teams to address service issues, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
This role offers exposure to last-mile logistics operations, performance analytics, and client service in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track details, and work to deadlines.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) to compile and interpret operational data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and document processes.
- Interest in logistics, operations management, or supply chain, preferably as part of current or recent academic studies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with delivery platforms, GPS-based tools, or dispatch systems is an advantage but not required.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or diploma in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
