Overview
As an Operations Customer Service & Admin , your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of various operational tasks within our organization.
Your role plays a vital part in maintaining the quality of our products, timely dispatch of orders, and seamless coordination with third-party delivery services.
Order Processing
Prepare, scan, and dispatch customer orders promptly and accurately.
Thoroughly inspect the quality of products before dispatching them to customers.
Verify the expiration dates of products and ensure that only items within the acceptable date range are dispatched.
Order Coordination
Receive and process orders from third-party delivery services such as Deliveroo, Talabat, Instashop, and QualityFood website.
Efficiently book and assign orders to the appropriate delivery personnel or drivers.
Facility Management
Arrange the chiller and freezer areas daily to maintain the optimal storage conditions for perishable items.
Customer Support
Answer incoming calls on the main landline number of QualityFood.
Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and order-related questions, providing excellent customer service.
Supplier Interaction
Receive deliveries from suppliers when the storekeeper is unavailable or absent.
Ensure that supplier deliveries are accurately documented and stored appropriately.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting product quality and checking expiration dates.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Good communication skills for customer inquiries and coordination with third-party delivery partners.
Basic computer proficiency for order processing and record keeping.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Working Conditions
This role may involve standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of moderately heavy items.
Flexibility in work hours, as the role may require occasional evening or weekend shifts to meet business demands.
