Overview

We're hiring at HKx Associates.

I'm looking for an Operations Coordinator to help keep the firm organised, well-run, and growing — someone who'll take real ownership across recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day operations as we scale.

HKx Associates is a research and strategy consulting firm based in Dubai, working across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, the wider public sector, and real estate.

What matters most to me in this hire:

Exceptional organisation and attention to detail

Real drive, energy, and a willingness to learn

Experience

in a Big 4 firm, top-tier consulting firm, or a highly structured corporate environment is strongly preferred (operations, HR, or as an EA)

Polished written and spoken English

We are looking for someone with **5–10+ years of experience**, but attitude, ownership, and drive matter just as much as the number of years.

Based in Dubai or Riyadh.

We're open on years of experience — attitude and drive matter more to us than a fixed number.

Imagine it is your first Monday morning.

You open your inbox to find five items, all flagged as needing attention today:

1.

A candidate the Partners are keen on emails to say they've received another offer and need to hear about next steps by end of day.

2.

A Partner asks you to set up a client meeting later this week and circulate an agenda.

3.

A supplier sends a polite chaser on an overdue invoice.

4.

Two interviews booked for tomorrow have no rooms or video links arranged.

5.

A new joiner starts on Wednesday and nothing has been prepared for their onboarding.

In no more than one page:

a) List the order you would tackle these in, with a one-line reason for each.

b) Draft the short email you would send to the candidate in item 1.
