Overview
The Operations Coordinator will provide support to the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) operational team.
Responsibilities include performing quality control checks, such as rack tests, and assisting with ongoing operational tasks as needed, to ensure all content available to airline passengers is accurate and up to standard.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control of all the IFE content, including content grid, against customized and specific checklist at the integrator rack facility, to ensure delivered media files launch correctly at every new cycle;
- Detect and report any issues, that need to be addressed;
- Operational team support - handling media orders, tracking missing assets, and managing file delivery;
- Using relevant documentation such as programme grid and checklist, perform quality control checks of assigned media files for movies, TV and audio content to be loaded to the airline’s system;
- Identify errors and flag them as relevant to key internal parties to ensure timely solution;
- Assist the HQ metadata team in any additional quality control requirements, including checking any spelling or grammar issues;
- Accurate and timely monthly reporting within the department and to the airline;
- Other operational tasks as and when required
Requirements
- Excellent English proficiency plus any additional language
- Strong proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP etc) and general ability to accurately work with spreadsheets
- Meticulous attention to detail - ability to spot errors, inaccuracies, and glitches
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills; proactive attitude
- Strong time management and overall organisational skills to ensure all monthly deadlines are met
- Experience in the IFE or media industry is desired but not mandatory
