Operations Contract Support Analyst

Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Produce reporting and analysis for operational and commercial decision-making.
• Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance improvements.
• Identify changes that improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Support revenue protection, cost control, cost recovery, and contract performance.
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
• Produce spend, billing, and performance reporting for invoicing and revenue recovery.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs and recommend corrective action.
• Support data quality, purchase order accuracy, and commercial governance.
• Maintain trackers, action logs, reporting packs, and management information.
• Support contract mobilisation, stakeholder issue resolution, training, and continuous improvement.

Knowledge and skills

• Experience in commercial analysis, business analysis, or performance reporting.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting and communicating complex data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data modelling, and complex formulae.
• Strong commercial awareness covering profitability, revenue, and cost control.
• Experience producing reports, dashboards, and management information.
• Ability to identify process improvement and operational efficiency opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
