Operations Assistant Manager (12-Month Contract GWO)

Purpose

What you will do

• Lead a customer-focused team and support client relationships.
• Administer syndicated and direct loan information, verify available limits and calculations, and manage disbursement and application of funds.
• Ensure compliance with authorization terms and loan documents, including pricing, term, and limits.
• Resolve issues with internal contacts and other banks; escalate policy and procedure exceptions as needed.
• Use Loan IQ knowledge to support accurate accounting entries and business-line reporting.
• Assist with team tasks, exception resolution, and special projects.
• Monitor and report productivity, staffing, and workload weekly; coach team staff.
• Promote effective operations and controls for operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct.
• Support an inclusive high-performance team and employee development planning.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or business-related studies, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and working experience in corporate lending services.
• Solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Suite tools.
• Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
• Loan IQ experience is preferred.
