Role overview
The Operations Analyst – OPEX supports Finance, budget holders and Operations and Maintenance leaders with cost control, month-end reporting and forecasting.
The position is described as flexible site location and permanent.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end reporting, forecasting and routine cost-control activities.
- Review monthly cost reports, identify forecast variances, and highlight potential opportunities and risks.
- Review commercial rechargeable costs within Operations.
About you
- Qualification or background in construction, finance, analytics, cost engineering or procurement.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector or process-related operations.
- Knowledge of cost forecasting and construction contracts.
- Membership of a professionally recognized cost or energy organization is required; RICS and ACostE are examples.
- Willingness to travel within the UK, Germany and the Netherlands would be beneficial.
Pay
- Salary is approximately £42,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
