Al Qaryan International DMCC is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Operations Specialist
to manage end-to-end trading operations and ensure the seamless execution of domestic and international transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the complete order execution process from purchase order to final delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, surveyors, inspection agencies, and warehouses.
- Prepare, review, and manage commercial and shipping documentation, including contracts, invoices, packing lists, certificates, bills of lading, and customs documentation.
- Monitor shipment schedules, logistics, and inventory to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate operational records and proactively resolve shipment or documentation issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Steel, Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metals Trading or commodity trading operations.
- Strong knowledge of international trade, shipping documentation, logistics, supply chain management, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with hands-on experience using SAP and QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced trading environment while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
