About the Role
Taajeer Finance seeks an Operational Risk Specialist to support operational excellence and organizational resilience by analyzing business processes, assessing operational risks, and contributing to Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Conduct operational risk assessments and risk analysis across business functions and processes
- Facilitate Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) and monitor mitigation action plans
- Develop and maintain operational risk registers and risk reporting dashboards
- Support the implementation and enhancement of the Operational Risk Management Framework
- Perform Business Impact Analysis (BIA) in accordance with ISO 22301 requirements
- Support the development, testing, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
- Coordinate with business units to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery requirements
- Conduct process mapping and workflow analysis to identify operational vulnerabilities and control gaps
- Monitor operational risk incidents, perform root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actions
- Develop and maintain risk assessment methodologies, tools, and templates
- Prepare risk reports and presentations for management and relevant committees
- Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and escalate emerging risks when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- 3 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, or Business Continuity Management
- Experience within the banking, financing, or financial services sector is preferred
- Professional certifications such as ISO 22301, ISO 31000, CRISC, ORM, or related certifications are an advantage
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Experience in stakeholder coordination
- Process Mapping and Workflow Analysis skills
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP) based on ISO 22301
- Business Impact Analysis (BIA) based on ISO 22301
