Job Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee all factory, fabrication, and project operations to ensure efficient production, quality compliance, timely project delivery, and operational excellence.
The role requires strong leadership in manufacturing, construction coordination, workforce management, and process optimization within the Saudi construction and fa ade industry.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production Management Lead daily factory and site operations for metal fabrication and fa ade projects.
Ensure production targets and project timelines are achieved efficiently.
Monitor workflow, productivity, and operational KPIs.
Coordinate between engineering, procurement, logistics, QA/QC, and project teams.
Optimize resource allocation including manpower, machinery, and materials.
Project Execution Oversee execution of fa ade, aluminum, steel, and glazing projects.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
Track project progress and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Coordinate installation activities with site teams and subcontractors.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule.
Quality & Compliance Maintain compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures.
Ensure adherence to Saudi safety regulations and HSE standards.
Conduct operational audits and implement corrective actions.
Promote continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
Team Leadership Manage supervisors, engineers, foremen, and production staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and workforce planning.
Develop training programs to improve productivity and technical skills.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
Cost Control & Reporting Monitor operational expenses and production costs.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Prepare operational reports for senior management.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 7 10 years of experience in metal fabrication, fa ade systems, aluminum, or construction manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, project management, and factory operations.
Experience
in GCC/Saudi Arabia construction industry preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and production planning software.
Knowledge of Saudi labor laws and HSE regulations is an advantage.
