Operation Manager - Infrastructure Maintenance

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance strategies and plans; coordinate teams and ensure timely task completion.
• Manage maintenance budgets, resource allocation, and cost-effectiveness.
• Assess operational risks, implement mitigation, monitor performance, and identify process improvements.
• Coordinate with other teams and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry practices.
• Manage vendor and service-provider relationships; oversee preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Report maintenance activities, budgets, and performance to senior management.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of infrastructure maintenance operations experience.
• Project management skills, relevant software proficiency, and knowledge of infrastructure maintenance systems and practices.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management, resource allocation, risk mitigation, team leadership, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work night shifts is required.

Preferred qualifications

• Project management certification such as PMP or a facilities management certification is preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
