Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Operation Manager / Project Engineer role based in Dubai.
The role involves overseeing daily site operations, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and consultants, and monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets.
The Operation Manager / Project Engineer will review technical drawings, support project planning, track materials and resources, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
The role also includes preparing progress reports, documenting issues, and proposing practical solutions to keep projects on schedule.
Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and optimize workflows is a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Strong operations and operations management skills to oversee day-to-day site activities and project workflows.
- Proven supervisory skills to guide on-site teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure adherence to project plans.
- Solid analytical skills to interpret project data, identify risks, and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in real estate development, construction, or project engineering, preferably within the Dubai market.
- Familiarity with project management tools and basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards.
